I'm learning to embrace the me that God made, not the me that man makes. And by that I mean, the me that society pushes. The me that fits into some irritatingly boxy mold of how people are supposed to act. What people are supposed to do at a certain age. The job people should have by a certain age.
"You'll never make any money being an artist," they said. Who are they exactly? I have the most fulfilling job on Earth and it pays nothing; I'm a mother. My secondary job is that I'm an artist & they were wrong.
BE WHO YOU ARE!
