We're in the heat of Summer here in Georgia, the garden's finished, the bugs are awful & the humidity's even worse. Needless to say, we've been spending many hours soaking in the kiddie pool. Today, we broke out the Slip 'N Slide. Water is a part of our day (almost always), but Owen hasn't been in enough water to be able to learn to swim.
A friend and I ran a 5k on July 4th and she was telling me about her membership to the YMCA. I decided Owen and I could use some fun away from home, so this past Friday, I signed us up. I'm really looking forward to turning my little guy into a swimmer! There is a huge pool. I went and bought him the cutest little getup to get started. I'm sure he'll be a natural (I'm not biased or anything)...
Oh but from this blog I think you could write for the next days get you to 31! Being a mom and staying active, fun things to do with your kids in the summer, how to stay motivated when challenged, how to beat the summer heat, and so much more! Keep it up!
